We were asked to help for engineering this piece of high-end laundry drying-rack of Brabantia©. This Dutch brand for kitchen and laundry aids provides state of the art equipment with extreme long life durability. And so is this laundry-rack.
Also this one will fold up into a small package.
Small windmills do get a lot of critics as they never seem to win back their material and production-price. Most of them do involve high end production systems and expensive parts like gears, high-end coils, sliprings, electronics and bearings. Added up, this results in a high customer price starting from Euro 2.500,= up to Euro 35.000,=.
So we have aimed for the lowest possible price and this resulted in windmill package of the price of a pair of trousers!
Besides of that, our aim is to make sure parts can be repaired at a low-cost by anybody, turning this product in an interesting project for underdeveloped areas throughout the world.
